What can I say, caterpillars love the taste of my caladium’s leaves! This lucky fella fattened up on two nice big leaves before being discovered. It’s the first time I’ve seen this variety of larvae, so I spared it. What interesting markings, eh? Strangely enough, although we have several clusters of caladiums in the garden – and some not two metres away – this particular plant seems to attract the most caterpillars. I’m going to call it caterpillar bait.
